What better way to appreciate and understand color in nature than to capture it in photographs?
When I am not busy with research, I spend virtually all of my free time outside taking photos. I focus mostly on wildlife photography (in part because I document every vertebrate species I encounter), but I will not pass up a good landscape shot when I see one. As you might expect, I am a bit biased toward brightly-colored animals, although I do thoroughly enjoy some of the subtler aspects of color exhibited by more cryptic organisms.
At the bottom of this page, I have included a sampling of some of my favorite shots. If you like what you see, I encourage you to check out my Instagram page and give it a follow. Thanks for looking!
